Yoga during winter – the perfect way to boost yourself back into shape.
Winter is one of the best times of the year to reinvigorate and recommit to your yoga practice or take it to the next level. When it’s cold outside, yoga is the perfect indoor practice to keep you warm and energized.
Mornings are the ideal time to to practice yoga when your mind is alert, uncluttered by the stresses of the day, and your body is eager to get moving. If you don’t yet have a regular practice, starting your day with yoga is a great way to develop one.
A daily practice will lead to a healthier body, a calmer state of mind and a more relaxed approach to life. You could also embark on a 30 day yoga challenge if you’re feeling inspired. Give yourself an incentive for the end, such as a massage to keep you motivated or a luxury yoga retreat!
Why not try a different yoga style or a new yoga class.
If you already practice yoga regularly, why not try out a new class or a new style of yoga. In the colder months, hot yoga may suit you more. Trying out a new studio or teacher could help to breathe new life into your practice.
Can’t hack the cold winter weather? Sometimes you just need the right environment and the warm weather to get back into your body and reconnect to nature!
How about a yoga retreat in a sunnier climate?
