Unwind on a yoga retreat in Greece.

We’ve chosen two wonderful islands for our yoga retreats in Greece in 2023.

Greece is the perfect destination for a luxury yoga retreat – gorgeous beaches, 5* hotels, delicious food, and charming towns full of character. We’ve planned several yoga weeks in Greece in 2023 on two of our favorite Greek islands: Mykonos and Crete.

We’ll practice yoga twice a day by the sea, with plenty of free time to explore the islands, get a massage, or just relax on our private beach. Two of us from Yoga Escapes will join every trip to make sure everything runs smoothly and to show you around the islands. We’ve chosen superb yoga teachers and have taken care of all the details, so you can just come and relax.

Our groups are normally 10-15 people from all around the world, we’re flexible on everything, we eat and drink what we like, and we make sure there’s always a bit of fun and adventure.

Our luxury yoga retreats in Greece:

Yoga Retreat in Mykonos

June and September 2023

Practicing yoga overlooking the sea in Mykonos is breathtaking. Our 5* hotel is located on one of the island’s most gorgeous beaches, and there are plenty more to explore nearby. We’ll splurge on spa treatments and delicious meals, take a stroll in Mykonos town, have a drink by the waterfront near the famous windmills, hop on a boat trip to a nearby island, and spend lazy afternoons by the pool. We don’t get up too early, we eat and drink what we like, and the yoga is superb – we think Mykonos is the perfect island for a high-end yoga retreat in Greece.

Yoga Retreat in Crete

30 Sept–7 October 2023

We’ve planned a wonderful yoga retreat in Crete at a peaceful 5* hotel right on the beach. We’ll practice yoga twice a day near the sea, have delicious traditional Greek food at the lovely tavernas in Chania town, and take day trips to gorgeous beaches. We have no rules and no strict schedules, our groups are small from all over the world, and we’ve handpicked the best of everything for you. Two of us from Yoga Escapes will be there to show you our favorite places and to make sure you have a stress-free break.

Stunning beaches

Greece is famous for its beaches, and Mykonos and Crete have some of the most beautiful ones – a big reason why we’ve chosen these islands for our yoga retreats in Greece. From Falasarna and Elafonisi beaches in Crete to Super Paradise and Elia in Mykonos – Greece is a beach-lover’s dream!

5* hotels on the beach

We’ve selected fantastic 5* hotels in Mykonos and Crete located on lovely beaches. Practice yoga just steps from the sea and jump in for a swim! The hotels have high-end spas and large pools, excellent service, and spacious seaview rooms.

Warm sunny weather

We’ve picked the best months of the year to visit Greece. It’s warm and sunny in June, perfect for a swim and to practice yoga outdoors. And the weather stays warm until September and October, when the beaches are not too crowded and there’s a real feeling of peace.

Delicious Greek cuisine

A yoga retreat in Greece wouldn’t be complete without trying the local cuisine – traditional tavernas to high-end restaurants, the food is delicious. Fresh ingredients, pure olive oil, local vegetables and salads, grilled fish and meat, and slow-cooked oven dishes. And some very good wines too – we’ll enjoy a glass with dinner.

Charming towns

Mykonos town and Chania town in Crete are absolutely beautiful, with pedestrian streets, seaside cafés and magnificent sunsets – the perfect places to sit and watch life go by. We specifically decided to host our yoga retreats in Greece near these two towns for their unique charm.
